Training and Practical Skills

This includes the teaching of literacy, numeracy, basic administrative skills, bookkeeping, sales, and production scheduling, as well as income-generating skills. Students will also have the option to learn English, a valuable skill in building international contacts. The experience from the existing project has shown that basic education levels vary, and training needs to be adapted to each student. All trainers are women. While the Zindagi Now project aspires to train Afghan women to be integrated into the jewellery business sector, administrative and business skills can also be helpful for other income-generating activities outside this sector.
